Langrock’s 2020 60-for-60th Monthly Donations Program Supports Age Well’s Meals on Wheels Program in March

Established in 1960, the law firm of Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP has begun a yearlong celebration of their 60 years of service in Vermont with a series of charitable contributions known as 60 for the 60th.

Each month throughout 2020, Langrock will be make “donations of 60” to charitable organizations throughout Chittenden and Addison counties.

In March, Langrock supported Age Well Vermont by donating 60 meals, in each of Chittenden and Addison Counties, to Age Well’s Meals on Wheels program. Age Well is the Area Agency on Aging for Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties, and its programs promote healthy aging, independence, dignity, and personalized choice for older adults. “In this challenging time, when our older residents are more isolated than ever due to the pandemic, Meals on Wheels is an essential service, providing both necessary nutrition and vital personal connection,” said Langrock attorney and Age Well board member, Sarah Tischler. Sara Wool, Age Well’s Director of Development, added, “Resources and volunteers to support Meals on Wheels are needed now more than ever, and we are so grateful to Langrock for making these deliveries possible.”

Previously, Langrock donated 60 team jackets to the athletes of the Rutland Eagles Special Olympics team, and 60 picture dictionaries to the Vermont chapter of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI Vermont).

Going forward, Langrock is evaluating how best to focus its community support in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on Vermont.
