What can we help you with today?
Eric Knudsen is a talented and experienced attorney. He’s careful, attentive, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I feel fortunate to be his client!
It is daunting to have a family member diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment, never mind navigate the legal logistics. Hobart Popick took time to get to know my mother so that putting her affairs in order truly reflected her wishes before she lost the ability to decide for herself. I am so grateful for the care, time and clear communication that Hobart and Langrock Sperry & Wool provided me as I began my journey of caring for my mother.
Over the past year of COVID-related challenges, we have worked closely by phone, and in a safe and socially-distant in-person capacity with Hobart Popick to update and revise our blended family estate plan and documents. Hobart listened to our concerns and wishes, and prepared our overall plan to meet our needs effectively and efficiently. He is thorough, detailed, and a pleasure to work with. Samantha Dietsch, our legal assistant, is very responsive, resourceful, and helpful. Together, they have provided us with attentive and comprehensive service.
Finding the right attorney is absolutely essential! Eric Jones has an incredible amount of experience and truly listens to find a creative solution to fit each scenario. Although Eric has a number of clients and cases to juggle on any given day, I always know help is just a phone call away. He is responsive, attentive and always prepared for our appointments. Eric’s dedication and follow through are outstanding. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Eric support us in all areas of labor and employment law.
Thanks to Chris Davis for everything he has done for me. I greatly appreciate it. I can still remember the first time stepping into your office, I felt so hopeless, and you literally pulled out a law book and showed me the law. My sense of hope returned that day. I appreciate your honesty and straightforwardness. You truly have made a positive impact on me and I just felt I had to share.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ANEW Place faced an unprecedented challenge and opportunity. We received a large federal grant to purchase and renovate the Champlain Inn as a facility to serve our homeless neighbors. Hobart Popick’s expertise proved invaluable in navigating not only the real estate closing but the complex legal issues surrounding this transaction. He and his team took the time to understand our goals so that we could successfully open this needed facility on time.
Devin McLaughlin was recommended to me for his dedication, professionalism and courtesy. I can attest to those qualities and more. He communicated with me, and the opposing party, in a consistently respectful, fair and conscientious manner. Devin encourages his client to stay focused on the matters at hand while simultaneously understanding the sensitive nature of his work. He listens to his client’s concerns and finds a way to navigate them successfully. Additionally, he is very responsive to his client’s calls and/or emails. Devin is a strong and methodical advocate who is willing to go the extra mile and speak on his client’s behalf with dignity and purpose in potentially contentious situations. I am proud to have worked with Devin and recommend him without hesitation.
Thank you for the guidance and excellent representation Devin McLaughlin gave me in my recent divorce. It was a very emotional and scary time for me, and I had no clue what to expect or what the outcome would be. He asked for my thoughts and opinions and listened to my concerns. He never rushed me or got impatient with me and went above and beyond and treated me as if I were family. Devin was attentive, knowledgeable, accessible, empathetic, and kind. I will not hesitate to recommend Devin McLaughlin and the law firm of Langrock Sperry & Wool to anyone I know that needs a strong competent lawyer and firm in their corner. In a world where many places treat you as a number and are quick to write you off, Devin does just the opposite. I knew my future mattered to Devin. I truly cannot thank him enough for that.
When our lives were upended upon discovery of industrial chemical pollutants on our property, in our well water, and indeed, throughout our community, we were fortunate to have benefited from the capable legal support provided by Langrock Sperry & Wool. We were comfortable from our first meeting with Emily Joselson and the team that was assembled to pursue this complex case. They have thoroughly and effectively investigated and argued issues including the need for medical monitoring, diminution in the value of our property, and the impact of the experience on our quality of life. Our anxiety has been lessened thanks to regular communication from, and consultation with, the attorneys and the qualified experts that have been brought to bear on each of these matters. Indeed, we would have felt overwhelmed facing these challenges on our own, but are confident that we have a path forward thanks to the counsel and support provided by Langrock Sperry & Wool.
