ATTORNEY MATTHEW ZIDOVSKY NAMED PARTNER AT LANGROCK SPERRY & WOOL

Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew A. Zidovsky has been named a partner at the firm, effective January 1st, 2025. Matthew is based in the firm’s Burlington office.

Matthew represents both businesses and individuals in litigation and appeals, including commercial/contract disputes, contested estate and trust proceedings, property disputes, employment claims, and other general tort matters. Matthew also represents clients in land use and other regulatory proceedings before municipal bodies and in Vermont Department of Labor matters.

“We are delighted to welcome Matt as one of our partners. He’s both a zealous and thoughtful litigator, and a wonderful person to have around. He’s a great addition to our team, and we are lucky to have him,” notes Langrock partner Lisa Shelkrot.

Matthew grew up in Vermont and joined Langrock Sperry & Wool in June 2021 after his family relocated from New Mexico. Beginning in 2017, Matthew worked primarily as a litigator for a civil defense-oriented law firm in Santa Fe. Prior to taking that position, Matthew completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Judge James J. Wechsler of the New Mexico Court of Appeals. While in law school, Matthew served as Editor-in-Chief of the New Mexico Law Review. Prior to law school, Matthew served on the staff of now-United States Senator Martin Heinrich, with a focus on public lands and natural resource management, energy development and transmission, infrastructure development, and telecommunications. He lives in Shelburne with his wife, Danila, and their two daughters Francesca and Lucia.
