SETTLEMENT IN TRUCK/CAR COLLISION

Langrock attorneys Emily J. Joselson, James W. Swift and William A. Vasiliou obtained a significant settlement on behalf of their client following a severe motor vehicle collision. The client, a hard-working building operations manager for a local housing authority, was driving north on Route 7 when he was hit head-on by a driver who had been driving erratically and then crossed the centerline. The client suffered significant physical injuries, including numerous broken bones which required surgical repair. Through a systematic approach, the above attorneys not only established that the other driver was negligent, but also presented compelling evidence through medical and lay witnesses that their client’s injuries were severe and permanently disabling. The matter settled, before any litigation, for $900,000.
