LS&W Announces Connecting, Empowering, and Celebrating Women 2017

Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP has embarked on a new initiative – a series of events Connecting, Empowering, and Celebrating Women, throughout 2017. The initiative was kicked off on Wednesday night, with a gathering entitled Amazing Women, at Foam Brewers in Burlington. More than 50 women from around the state came together to learn from each other and about the initiative.

The initiative will include: presenting educational programs for women; hosting speakers and panels on women’s issues; and mentoring women on legal issues. Above all, each event in the initiative will involve partnering with women’s organizations. For example, the kick-off event included a presentation regarding ASPIRE!, a program that provides grants, mentoring, and community support to female entrepreneurs in the Northeast Kingdom, and encouraged the guests to get involved. In return, women attorneys from Langrock will present a seminar on business law issues to the ASPIRE! participants.
