Mike Wool Writes on the Importance of the Boys & Girls Club

Mike Wool, a member of the New England Board of Higher Education, has written an article (along with Mary Alice McKenzie) in The New England Journal of Higher Education on the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington and, in particular, its efforts to prepare kids for college. The article describes the genesis of the Club’s “Know How To Go” and “Early Promise” programs, both designed to support kids in obtaining postsecondary education and training, and to break the cycle of generational poverty.
