Wool, Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is honored to have sponsored local charity, Age Well, in their recent joining of the 21st annual March for Meals – a month-long, nationwide celebration of Meals on Wheels and our aging neighbors who rely on the vital service to remain healthy and independent at home.
During the month of March, community-based Meals on Wheels programs from across the country join forces for the annual awareness campaign to celebrate this successful public-private partnership and garner the resources needed to support older adults in need of a nutritious meal, friendly visit, and safety check, as explained in Age Well’s recent press release.
As frequent supporters of the nonprofit organization, Langrock Sperry & Wool recognizes the vital services Age Well provides for Vermont’s older population. “Age Well’s Meals on Wheels program, and all the programs offered to the community, mean so much to those individuals who can’t leave their homes or are unsure where their next meal will come from. Taking care of each other and lifting the spirits of our homebound neighbors – as members of the community, it’s up to all of us to help,” said former Langrock partner and Age Well board member, Sarah G. Tischler.
Age Well is a nonprofit organization that has served Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle counties since 1974 as a member of Vermont’s Area Agencies on Aging.
