Langrock Sperry & Wool Hikes To Help Give Hunger The Boot

Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is proud to sponsor the Hike For Hunger — an annual event to raise funds and awareness for the issue of hunger and malnutrition in Vermont.

An initiative of Hunger Free Vermont, an education and advocacy organization with the mission to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters, the Hike celebrates its 16th anniversary this year.

On Saturday, September 22, 20 Team Langrock hikers were among the 168 participants who converged at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston. Nearly $15,000 has been raised to date.

There is a second Hike on Saturday, October 13 at Grafton Ponds in southern Vermont. A Langrock team will be hiking again, and the firm encourages all Vermonters to participate or donate.

As part of the law firm’s year-long charitable partnership with Hunger Free Vermont, Langrock Sperry & Wool is also supporting hunger relief through promotion and engagement in the following efforts: the 3Squares Vermont Challenge during November, Hunger Awareness Day in January, and ongoing Hunger Council Meetings throughout the State.
