Langrock Partner Named as Treasurer for American Bar Association
Frank “Fritz” H. Langrock was recently nominated to be the Treasurer of the American Bar Association (ABA). He will be only the third Vermont lawyer to serve as an officer in the organization and the first in this century.
Beginning in August 2022, Fritz will serve one year as Treasurer-elect and then will commence his official three-year term in 2023. He looks forward to bringing his dynamic breadth of experience and thoughtful nature to the position.
In addition to his litigation and mediation practice at Langrock Sperry & Wool, Fritz has been active in the ABA for nearly fifteen years. Fritz served for nine years as Vermont’s state delegate to the ABA House of Delegates from 2008-17, where he served a term as Chair of the House Technology and Communications Committee. Fritz served on the ABA Board of Governors from 2017-2020 as the representative from District 1, comprising Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire. Fritz served on the Board Finance Committee for three years and chaired the Subcommittee on Investments for two years.
Fritz has also served on the Council for the ABA Solo, Small Firm, General Practice Division, and is currently chairing the ABA Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services, which focuses on access to legal services for those of modest means.
