LANGROCK CLIENTS IN PFOA CASE ADVOCATE FOR MEDICAL MONITORING

Sandy Sumner, one of Langrock’s court-appointed representative plaintiffs in the PFOA class action lawsuit, was beloved by many, and a strong and respected advocate for the environment. Following his death last year from a rare cancer, his wife, Marie-Pierre Huguet, has taken up the mantle, and become a strong advocate herself for the passage of legislation (S. 113) which would provide the remedy of medical monitoring to those—like she and Sandy and most of her Bennington community—exposed to toxic chemicals as the result of the wrongful conduct of industrial neighbors.
