Joselson Argues Equal Pay Act Case Against State of Vermont

LS&W attorney Emily Joselson is representing three female employees of the Vermont Department of Corrections in a case against the State of Vermont, claiming that the State has violated the Equal Pay Act. In arguments before the Washington Superior Court, Joselson asserted “The fact of the matter here is that a far less senior, and less experienced, business manager is being paid thousands of dollars … (more) than more senior and more experienced female business managers for doing the exact same work,” in violation of the statute.
