Freedom to Marry Task Force Disbands – Mission Accomplished!

In 1995, Langrock attorneys Susan Murray and Beth Robinson (now a Justice of the Vermont Supreme Court) were instrumental in founding and leading a group named the “Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force.” They had one ambitious goal: to secure marriage equality for gay and lesbian couples in Vermont.

Now, more than two decades later, after much dedicated work by Susan, Beth, and many others, marriage equality is the law of the land, and the Task Force has fulfilled its goal.
